West Ham have joined the interest for Everton midfielder Gerard Deulofeu.
The Daily Star says Deulofeu is currently on loan at AC Milan, who are interested in making the move permanent at the end of the season.
But the Hammers have also been watching him and after twice missing out on the Spain winger they are ready to make it third time lucky.
Deulofeu's situation is complicated by the fact Barcelona inserted a buy-back clause in his contract when they sold him to Everton in 2015.
That allows them to re-sign him for £10.3m in June, with club secretary Robert Fernandez saying this week: “We have the possibility and it's good."
It would cost West Ham £15.5m to sign Deulofeu directly from Everton, where the 23-year-old struggled to make an impact under Ronald Koeman.
