Winston Reid has agreed a new two-year deal with West Ham United.
The Daily Mail says West Ham have invoked a two-year extension clause in his deal and club sources will renegotiate further in the summer with the lure of a five-year deal.
"There was never any chance of us letting him go," said a club insider. "We want to build for the future and Winston has a key role to play going forward."
Former Hammers captain Alvin Martin rates the Kiwi the club's best performer this season.
