West Ham intent on landing Lanzini permanently

West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has made it vehemently clear that Manuel Lanzini is going nowhere.

The talented Argentine attacking midfielder is on a season-long loan with the Hammers from UAE side Al Jazira but is likely to move permanently to East London in the summer.

There are a number of rival clubs circling the gifted Lanzini but Sullivan was quite firm when telling the club's official website about the situation of the 22-year-old.

"I know there have been some reports in the media over the weekend surrounding the future of Manuel Lanzini," he said.

"We have an unbreakable option with both Lanzini and his club, so any other team's interest is irrelevant.

"Manuel has been a fantastic signing for the club and we all hope he can maintain this superb run of form for the rest of the season."

So far this season, Lanzini has scored three goals and provided one assist for the sixth-placed Hammers who take on London rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
