West Ham insist nothing serious over Dyer reserves substitution

West Ham United reserves boss Alex Dyer has played down concerns of a new injury scare for Kieron Dyer.

During defeat to Fulham this week, England midfielder Dyer was withdrawn after 38 minutes as a precaution with tightness in his calves. The 30-year-old has recently returned from 17 months out injured after suffering a broken leg in a Carling Cup tie at Bristol Rovers in August 2007.
