West Ham United have told Alessandro Diamanti he can go.
The Telegraph says Diamanti's agent, Luca Puccinelli, was called by West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady on Wednesday and told to find another club for his client, who has failed to impress co-chairman David Sullivan, who is now in charge of transfers.
Puccinelli has sought a meeting with Brady but has been told there is no point because Diamanti, who is close to manager Gianfranco Zola, is not wanted. Guillermo Franco has also been told he will not have his one-year contract renewed.
