West Ham midfielder Hayden Mullins could make a return to Reading.

The Mirror says West Ham boss Alan Curbishley last night offered Mullins as part of a £6m player-plus-cash deal for Reading left back Nicky Shorey.

Curbishley has already had a £5m bid turned down for Shorey.

But West Ham are confident of tying up a deal for the England full back before Saturday's trip to Reading.
