West Ham United are believed to be leading the race to sign Samuel Umtiti from Lyon.
Sky Sports reports that the Hammers are the frontrunners to land the highly-rated 22-year-old defender who was today named in France's final 23-man squad for Euro2016.
Cameroon-born Umtiti has previously attracted interest from the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham but it is now believed that West Ham are in pole position.
The East London club are making early transfer business a priority as they prepare to make the move to the Olympic Stadium this summer and a talented central defender is at the top of their list.
