West Ham United hope to complete the signing of Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy today.
The Wales striker has passed a medical at Upton Park after the Hammers and Liverpool agreed a £7.5million fee.
But Bellamy, 27, is due loyalty bonuses from Liverpool as he did not request a move and they will have to be paid this morning before the deal can be sealed.
West Ham confirmed in a statement: "The deal has been delayed due to a private contractual issue between Craig Bellamy and Liverpool."
