West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Joao Mario from Inter Milan on loan, according to a report published by RMC.

Hammers manager David Moyes is looking to bolster his midfield this month in order to steer his club away from the relegation zone.

Mario has struggled to earn regular game time at Inter this season with the likes of Borja Valero and Marcelo Brozovic being ahead of him in the clubs pecking order.

The 24-year-old is said to be keen on leaving the San Siro giants this month in order to boost his chances of winning selection to the Portugal squad that will participate in the 2018 World Cup.
