West Ham fullback Patrice Evra says he has no regrets over physically attacking an Olympique Marseille fan in Portugal.
Evra was dumped from OM for his actions before signing for West Ham.
He said in a post to Facebook: "I wanted to thank all the Marseille fans. Despite this little kick to this Marseille supporter, but I do not qualify to support Marseille because what he said was unacceptable. I am a human being. I reacted badly, but I will not apologise because he is not a true supporter of OM.
"The real supporters of OM, I know them. These are the ones, when I arrived, I had not even touched a ball and they adulated me."
