West Ham fullback Aaron Cresswell insist a first win will spark their season.

Cresswell will call upon positive memories of Goodison Park when West Ham head to Everton for their return to Premier League action on Sunday.

He said, “Winning games brings confidence back – you can't just roll out of bed one morning and be full of confidence. I'll take any kind of win whether it's 1-0 or 5-4, because winning games breeds confidence and that's we're looking to do.

“Obviously I grew up in Liverpool and played for Liverpool when I was a kid, but I've been in the game a long time now and I've been at West Ham for five years so I don't look at this kind of game differently just because I grew up there.

“It's just another Premier League game but one we're certainly looking to win."
