West Ham United fullback Aaron Cresswell is happy to fly the flag for lower league talent.
Cresswell played for Tranmere Rovers and Ipswich Town before signing for the Hammers.
"It is the easier option, especially for a club in the top six with lots of money, to go abroad and bring in a player who is more proven and is maybe a bit cheaper," Cresswell told the Daily Mail.
"But I think there are plenty more players in the lower league who can make the step up."
