West Ham United are tabling a £14million offer for Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani.
Hammers boss Avram Grant is keen on the 21-year old Serbian, seeing him as a star of the future, and wants to bring him to Upton Park but only when Ajax boss Martin Jol moves to Fulham.
Ajax agreed in principle for Sulejmani to join West Ham on a season-long loan but Jol blocked the move as he feared star striker Luis Suarez was set to move.
Now, with Jol's impending departure, Grant wants to pull off a transfer coup and Sulejmani is open to the idea.
"I really don't understand why Jol has vetoed my move," he said.
"It looks like he's trying to ruin my career. I was looking forward to relaunching myself at West Ham.
"Avram Grant sees me as a big talent and I'm keen to make a fresh start elsewhere."
