West Ham fire six past Cork City

West Ham United have kicked off their preseason friendlies with a 6-2 victory over Cork City.

The Hammers have been in Ireland for the past few days and produced a solid performance to easily beat Cork at Turner's Cross.

Alou Diarra and Joe Cole both scored early before Cork made it 2-1 through Adam Rundle, however, the Hammers kicked into gear in the second half with goals from Matt Taylor, Paul McCallum, Mark Noble (penalty) and Ravel Morrison before Cork grabbed a consolation via Rob Lehane.
