West Ham fight back from goal down to beat Stoke

West Ham have come back from conceding a late goal to grab the points in a 2-1 result against Stoke City at Upton Park.

Stoke's Adboulaye Faye headed home after just five minutes but a Carlton Cole equaliser in the 51st minute, followed by another Cole shot that was deflected in by Diego Tristan three minutes from time was enough to give the Hammers full points.

In a bizarre set of circumstances, Stoke's Ricardo Fuller was sent off for hitting teammate and captain Andy Griffin, leaving the visitors with just ten men from the 53rd minute.

The loss took Stoke's winless run to six matches and sees them sitting in the relegation zone whilst West Ham jump to tenth with their second win in a row.
