West Ham face taking Faubert back from Real Madrid

West Ham United are set to welcome back Julien Faubert at the end of the season from Real Madrid.

The Mirror says Faubert admits his dream switch to Real Madrid is in danger.

He was left out of Juande Ramos's squad for last night's Champions League tie with Liverpool and has only played 31 minutes as a sub since his January loan move.

West Ham will get £5.5million if Real make the loan spell permanent. The French midfielder said: "It's hard to take and I don't know why."
