West Ham United's owners have until Christmas to accept the offer of David Gold and David Sullivan.
The Sun says the former Birmingham owners are deep in talks with the struggling London club, but are aware of interest from other parties.
An Upton Park insider said last night: "The two Davids are making all the running and are not men to be messed around.
"They aren't going to be in a position where the current owners look over everything and come back to them as their backstop position."
