West Ham face competition for Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi.
Moukoudi is a top target this week for the Irons after an outstanding Ligue 2 campaign last season.
The two clubs have been haggling over a fee for the youngster, though Le Havre's €10m asking price is regarded as too rich.
Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyon are also in contact with Le Havre for Moukoudi.
The 20 year-old is an U21 France international.
