West Ham United are keen on Sunderland winger Ahmed Elmohamady.

The Sunday Sun says Sunderland's Egyptian winger admitted this week that his future may lie away from Wearside, after failing to make a single start under Martin O'Neill.

And the Hammers could offer him an escape route - but only if Sam Allardyce's side return to the Premier League.
