West Ham United are interested in Southampton striker Ricki Lambert.

The Daily Mail says while they want to give Sam Allardyce a budget that will convince him to extend his stay, West Ham will not overstretch themselves with their Olympic Stadium move on the horizon.

Along with Lambert, Vitesse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony is another striker target for the Hammers.
