West Ham are eyeing Malaga midfielder Recio.

The Sun says Irons manager Manuel Pellegrini wants to improve his midfield and Spanish sources have revealed he is interested in Recio at his former club Malaga.

Skipper Recio, 27, would relish teaming up with his old boss.

West Ham have also been linked with a £17.5m bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Andriy Yarmolenko.

Pellegrini wants the Ukrainian after seeing Manuel Lanzini ruled out for over a year with a cruciate ligament injury.
