West Ham eyeing Birmingham boss McLeish

West Ham United are chasing Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish.

The Daily Star says Big Eck, 52, could bounce back at West Ham, whose owners David Sullivan and David Gold appointed him at Birmingham four years ago when they were in charge at St Andrew's.

The Hammers are also eyeing two of their original targets when Grant was first under pressure - former Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill and ex-Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce.

But former Motherwell, Hibernian, Rangers and Scotland chief McLeish is also in the frame.
