West Ham United have been pleasantly surprised by increased season ticket demand.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham have extended their season ticket renewal date after a record high response over the last few days.
Club officials were worried about disgruntled fans not returning to the Boleyn Ground following a frustrating season but such was the clamour to renew before yesterday's deadline that the date has been put back to Friday 6 June, after which season tickets will be put on general sale.
