West Ham United have entered into a new partnership with fantasy football company Mondogoal, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. As part of the agreement the online game, which uses stats compiled in real time by Opta Sports, will be actively promoted to Hammers fans, who will be able to win money by selecting teams of players competing in the Barclays Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Major League Soccer, Ligue 1 and Uefa club competitions.
Mondogoal is the only daily fantasy football site available for cash play in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada, and also offers free play worldwide.
"Gaming has been an extremely popular category for West Ham fans and we believe this innovative platform that combines the fun of fantasy football with a daily format for free or cash play will catch on with our fans," said Felicity Croft, West Ham's head of commercial.
"We also believe that with the upcoming move to the Olympic Stadium, Mondogoal will be a perfect partner to be showcased at the Boleyn Ground and our future new home."
The east Londoners join the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and AS Roma in partnering with Mondogoal.
