West Ham have been encouraged in their pursuit of Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter.
The Sun says the Hammers must find £15million if they want to snatch Arter from Bournemouth.
Boss David Moyes was quoted that figure after his initial £5m offer was laughed at.
The midfielder has lost his place in the team but Cherries still want a bumper fee.
Hammers also checked on Newcastle's Jonjo Shelvey but his £90,000-a-week pay packet is too much for them.
