West Ham are eager to secure Declan Rice to a new deal.

The Daily Mail says West Ham want to tie Rice down to a new deal worth around £25,000 a week.

The 19-year-old, whose current contract with the Premier League club lasts until 2020, has impressed since breaking into the first-team squad.

Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Rice can play as a centre back or defensive midfielder and has made 23 appearances this season.

He is currently believed to be on £10,000 a week.
