West Ham United are set to open talks with manager Sam Allardyce regarding a new contract.
Hammers co-chairman David Sullivan revealed to Sky Sports News HQ that the east London club could soon reward the 60-year old who has his side sitting fifth on the Premier League this season.
"We will all sit down exactly the same as we did last season, exactly the same as the season before and the end of the first year in the Premier League when Sam's contract ran out and we sat down and agreed a new deal," Sullivan said.
"We will sit down at the end of this season with Sam and sees how he feels about everything and see how he feels about everything and then decide what we are doing."
Of West Ham's form this season, and the supporters' new-found appreciation of Allardyce, Sullivan added: "Fans are warming to him but he's from the north and West Ham is a London club.
"We didn't play the best football at the time but I don't think it was as bad as people said. They are warming to the new Sam, and the new West Ham, and the way we are playing."
