West Ham United have held talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a potential deal for Javier Hernandez.
The Mexico international currently has a £13m release clause in his contract.
The Hammers are desperate to sign a striker this summer who has Premier League experience, something that Hernandez has plenty of.
'Chicharito', as he is affectionately known, scored 37 league goals in four seasons with the Red Devils.
West Ham have also had talks with Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud, Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho, Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi and Anthony Modeste from Koln.
