West Ham United have entered talks about ground-sharing the London Olympic stadium.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham are in talks with Essex cricket club about a ground share at the Olympic Stadium.
Essex believe staging Twenty20 matches at the Stratford venue may attract new audiences and are targeting the cricket-loving Asian community in the East End.
They could rent the venue in the summer from West Ham, if the football club are successful in their bid to move to the stadium after the 2012 Games.
A West Ham source said: "We have been discussing ideas with Essex and the possibility of staging Twenty20 games at the Olympic Stadium is just one of them."
