West Ham United defender James Tomkins is happy for Marek Stech after his performance in their Carling Cup defeat of Sunderland.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper again imperious after his previous heroics in the second round against Oxford United. Tomkins said the keeper has a big future in the game.
"I have always thought a lot of Marek," he told WHUTV. "Potentially he is a very good keeper. He has all the qualities you need to be a good goalkeeper. He has proved that in the two games he has played.
"He has come in and done well for the team. Credit to him, with all the changes at the club, he has come through well and hopefully in a couple of years he will be pushing on."
