West Ham United defender James Tomkins says manager Sam Allardyce must stay.

Despite speculation about Big Sam's immediate future, Tomkins insists he is the man to take them up to another level.

"He is doing a great job here," Tomkins told the Sunday Express.

"He got us promoted at the first time of asking and you can't ask for much more, really."
