West Ham United defender Winston Reid is pleased with his injury progress.
The 25-year-old defender has been absent since suffering a high ankle sprain in early November, an injury which required surgery.
"The recovery has been going okay," he told West Ham TV. "I'm coming along and it'll be another month or so before I'm back fit.
"I've just been recovering from the operation so far - doing my gym work in the first four weeks, so I probably couldn't have done as much as I'd have wanted to, but I'm steadily getting better.
"The hard bit is those first couple of weeks when I was lying on my couch not able to do much, but now I can try to get my fitness back so hopefully that won't take so long."
