West Ham United remain locked in talks with Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher.

Fletcher has been handed a free transfer by United, which will also cover a percentage of his wages to help smooth negotiations.

West Ham are competing with West Bromwich Albion for the Scot.

It may take until the weekend for it to be resolved.
