West Ham United have signed a partnership extension with online ticket marketplace Viagogo, reports SportsPro. The agreement, financial terms of which were not released, is an extension of a deal first penned in 2010, and will see Viagogo remain as the London-based club's official ticket exchange partner.
Viagogo will provide West Ham season ticket holders with a way of re-selling tickets online for matches they are unable to attend.
The Hammers commercial director, Barry Webber, said: "Our loyal fan base deserves a place to sell tickets they can no longer use to other West Ham supporters.
"Our new partnership with Viagogo, the world's largest ticket exchange, is great news for both supporters who are occasionally unable to use their season cards and fans struggling to get a ticket to must-see games."
Viagogo spokesman Edward Parkinson said: "The Hammers are well known for their passionate support so we are delighted to be offering fans greater access to seats and season ticket holders a legal solution for reselling match day tickets they are unable to use."
Viagogo has an extensive portfolio of partnerships with sports properties, including Chelsea and Aston Villa, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
