West Ham United are finalising a deal for Arsenal fullback Carl Jenkinson.

The Sun says Sunderland offered a £2m fee to take the England ace on a temporary switch.

And the Gunners star was expected to make the switch to Wearside within the next few days.

But the 23-year-old is not keen on a move to the north-East.

It's claimed that he would instead prefer to move back to the Hammers.
