West Ham United management were delighted seeing Ravel Morrison and Modibo Maiga on the scoresheet in victory over Pacos de Ferreira.
Morrison has now scored six goals in pre-season, with Maiga's strike also taking him up to three, and Hendon was pleased for both of them.
Hammers coach Ian Hendon told West Ham TV: "Ravel has done very well in pre-season," he added. "He's come back and looked focused in what he's doing, and in his football. I think his performances have showed that."
"Modibo, too, has performed well and scored a week before the season. He did ever so well when the ball went up to him today, he held it up, won his headers and flick-ons, so it was nice for him to get on the scoresheet."
