West Ham United co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold are yet to make a decision over the future of manager Gianfranco Zola.
The London Evening Standard says despite reports this morning, no decision has been made regarding Zola's future, although the Italian will have showdown talks with owners Sullivan and David Gold as soon as this turbulent season is concluded.
Pressure on Zola will only have intensified after last night's abject display. Sullivan and Gold have been dismayed at some of the team's performances since they took control in January and it looks likely they will decide to make a change in the summer.
Relationships between Zola and Gold, particularly, have deteriorated in recent weeks but the problem for the owners is that it could cost £4million to sack the former Chelsea man who is less than a year into a new deal.
It has been clear, almost from day one of the new regime, that Zola's days as West Ham manager were numbered and it would now be much more of a shock if he was still in place at the start of next season.
