West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan is pleased with their capture of Ravel Morrison.
The Evening Chronicle says Sullivan claimed Newcastle United bid £4m for Morrison, but that the Hammers saw off them and four other Premier League clubs by offering Manchester United a £2m package.
Morrison starred in a friendly debut for West Ham last week.
