West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan refused to criticise the players after their defeat at Liverpool.

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan refused to criticise the players after their defeat at Liverpool.

Sullivan, who has been critical of the players in previous defeats, kept quiet on Gianfranco Zola's position.

"I don't want to say anything about the team and the performance," Sullivan told ESPN Soccernet.

"The supporters were magnificent and a real credit to the club."
