West Ham United are believed to be nearing a deal for Fabio Borini.

The Sun reports that the Hammers are on the verge of finalising a deal for the Italian striker who is almost certain to leave Liverpool this summer.

It is believed that West Ham will sign Borini, 24, for £8million with talks that he is on his way to London to complete the transfer.

Borini joined Liverpool from Parma in 2012 and scored just three goals in 38 appearances. He spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Sunderland where he managed to hit the back of the net on 10 occasions.
