West Ham clinch personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen striker Chicharito

West Ham have clinched personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.

BILD says Chicharito and West Ham have settled on a contract, though the two clubs are still to agree a fee.

The Hammers have offered €16m, but Bayer are demanding €20m to sell the Mexico international.

Going higher isn't expected to be a problem for West Ham, with the Londoners 'red hot' on signing Chicharito.

In 54 Bundesliga games the former Manchester United striker scored 28 goals.
