Beerschot youngster Alpaslan Ozturk is a target for West Ham United.

The Daily Mail says West Ham are expected to send a delegation to Belgium today to pursue a move for former Birmingham City junior Ozturk.

Ozturk, 19, is available on a free transfer after his club Beerschot were relegated from the top flight.

He is a right-back who can also operate in midfield.

The Hammers have been monitoring his progress for months and are confident they can tempt him to London.
