West Ham chief Sullivan plays down Portsmouth player raid

West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has denied speculation that up to five Portsmouth players are set to follow Avram Grant to Upton Park.

Sullivan is expected to unveil Grant as successor to Gianfranco Zola next week.

The Hammers chief said: "Everything is up in the air on players coming and going. We have said we want to sign five or six but there will be some going as well.

"It is very unlikely we will sign more than two players from Portsmouth, if any at all."
