West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan isn't losing sleep over missing out on Marvin Sordell.

The young striker signed for Bolton Wanderers last month.

Sullivan told the West Ham Till I Die blog: "We watched him, and we thought he was a rising star, maybe one for the future, but we're not sure about now. And we wanted somebody for now. He ended up at Bolton, didn't he? If he gets 8 goals for Bolton this season we made a bad decision, if he gets two, we made the right decision. He doesn't score that many goals when you analyse it. "
