West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has no plans to send Andy Carroll back to parent club Liverpool next month following a ligament injury.

Carroll is expected off his feet for two months.

But, asked if that meant a return to Anfield for the marksman, Gold tweeted: "We did not get him from Argos."
