West Ham United co-chairman David Gold admits Kieron Dyer cost the club a fortune.
Gold has claimed Dyer cost West Ham a staggering £16million on transfer fees and wages.
The former England midfielder moved to Upton Park from Newcastle in 2007 in a £6million deal and spent four injury-hit years with the club.
