West Ham United co-owner David Gold had a pop at their relegation rivals after the market shut last night.
Gold is delighted with the bottom club's capture of Spurs striker Robbie Keane, frontman Demba Ba, Wayne Bridge and Gary O'Neil.
He said: "As a signing, how many points would you give Robbie Keane?
"He has to be a nine. Demba has to be a seven, eight or a nine. Then you say who did Wolves bring in?
"Who did West Brom bring in? Who did Wigan bring in? They're our competitors.
"Did they bring in two strikers? I don't think so. If they did, are they of the quality that we have got? The bottom line is we're in a much, much better place today than we've been all season."
