West Ham chief confident of landing top strike target soon

David Sullivan has told West Ham United supporters that the club will be successful in their pursuit of a top quality striker.

The Hammers have reportedly already tabled bids for AC Milan's Carlos Bacca, Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette and Bournemouth's Callum Wilson, while there are a number of other attacking players being linked with the East London club.

Marseille star Machy Batshuayi and Liverpool's Christian Benteke remain on the West Ham radar and co-chairman Sullivan has assured fans that something will soon come to fruition.

"We're working 24 hours a day, seven days a week to make this happen, and with five bids in for players at the moment, we are hopeful that we can bring you some exciting news soon," he told the club's official website.
