West Ham chief Brady scoffs at Chelsea chances of landing Real Madrid pair Ronaldo, Higuain

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady doesn't believe Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich can prise Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain away from Real Madrid.

Brady wrote in her diary for The Sun: "Money talks in football but it isn't capable of ambushing two stars of the world's richest club, choking them with euros and then persuading them to turn out in the Europa League.

"No, Roman Abramovich has to get used to Chelsea being just another rich club. The glamour has moved elsewhere."
