West Ham United chief Karren Brady has revealed contact with Shanghai Shenhua striker Nicolas Anelka.

Brady wrote in The Sun: "Little to report today, except that I saw former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.

"I'm pleased to report that he is fit and well and relaxed in Dubai.

"Sam Allardyce would like to bring him back to the UK, so let's see what happens."
